Milo’s Dog Carrot Cake

 
 

Yield: 1 Cake Layer Prep Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

The Cake

  • 80 g (¾ Cup) Shredded Carrot

  • 100 g (½ Cup) Peanut Butter

  • 2 Large Eggs

  • ¾ tsp Baking Powder

The Icing

  • 240 g (1 Cup) Plain Greek Yogurt

  • 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter

  • Optional: Turmeric Powder to naturally dye it yellow

Recipe

The Cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 177°C (350°F) and line a 15cm (6in) round cake pan with parchment paper. 

  2. In a large bowl, mix all of the cake ingredients together.

  3. Pour into the lined cake pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until the middle does not jiggle and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool cake completely before decorating and serving.

The Icing

  1. In a small bowl, mix all of the icing ingredients together.

  2. Using a spatula or spoon cover the entire top of the cake with the icing.

  3. Decorate as desired and serve up to your doggo! 🐾
