I’m Laila, a baker and independent creator from Texas whose traveled around the world and found my home in Norway.

Through traveling I’ve experienced so many types of cultural treats that I never knew existed. Now my goal is to share some of my favorite ones with you. And don’t worry, you won’t need a ridiculously expensive plane ticket to try these pastries!

I created Baking Borders as a way to share recipes from these amazing cultures and make it easy for anyone-anywhere to make at home. Plus I’ll be sharing a few of my own fun pastry experiments and special holiday treats!
