1-Step Pastry Cream

 
 

Yield: 1 Batch Prep Time: 5 minutes Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 460g (2 Cups) Heavy Cream, Cold

  • 1 Packet - Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix

  • 1 Tbsp Granulated Sugar

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • ½ tsp Kosher Salt

Recipe

  1. In a mixer bowl fitted with a whisk attachment, add in all of the ingredients. Mix on medium-high speed until fully-combined and thick.

    Laila’s Tip: You can also do this by hand with a bowl and whisk but it will take a bit more time.
